Picture blogging!

So I realized that this whole time I haven’t been putting any pictures in my blogs! It was mostly because I didn’t know how. This is a test blog so I can learn, but also a way to highlight some of my favorite parts of San Diego.

Like I said in a previous post, we had weekends off and did fun stuff on the weekends… so that’s when we took the most pictures. During the week we were starting conversations with random people, and taking pictures of that could be creepy. Or at least, difficult. Haha. So just keep in mind that the majority of these pictures are not from the actual ministry part, but contributed to the entire experience. If you want to read about our ministry, go to the previous post, titled Summary.Β

Here come pitchas!

I got to help lead worship at our meetings every other week! πŸ™‚

Other times I got to lead worship:

In Spanish at my Hispanic church, La Promesa, with my friend Christina.

We were broken into “family groups” of five, and sent to different churches. I feel so blessed to have been able to attend La Promesa!

Erin, one of my little friends from the church!

The people at La Promesa took us to lunch πŸ™‚ This is us with our chili peppers.

Ruben is in blue, Letty is in green, and Pastor Bogar is in orange. They are all such wonderful people!

Two of our other friends, Β and a couple of my absolute faves!! Victor and Yadira were from another family group’s church called Vida Nueva. We got to hang out with these kiddos all the time πŸ™‚ They’re brother and sister and are complete goofballs. ❀

Part of a prank we played on Ryan hehe

We went to dinner at pastor sanchez’ house. I don’t know why I have so many pictures of people trading hats..

Speaking of hats…..

Best hat store in San Diego! hahaa

I turned 20 on June 4th… they surprised me with brownies and a sign! πŸ™‚

Mount Soledad, so awesome! You could see the entire city of San Diego from the top.

We did some venturing to get a better view hahah.

Best place to see the city!

Balboa Park is one of the coolest places to go in SD

Complete with exotic birds

Mission Beach, where we initiated conversations one day.

Bonfire on the beach at the end of the day!

Historic Gaslamp District in Downtown San Diego

Guess where we went one weekend?! We were such children that day.

Here are a few people pictures:

My discipler for the project, Ann Marie πŸ™‚

Maura πŸ™‚

Will!

Ryan!

Ashley πŸ™‚ My 5-week BFF. (hahah except… probably for longer, lets be honest)

Of course there were plenty more people pictures, but thats a sample since this is already the longest picture blog post known to man.

Groups of people!

My church family group!! Minus Chris who was at a wedding 😦

Oh, here’s an actual good one of me and Ash.

This is just getting kind of random now..

Okay, I’ll be done. In conclusion, there’s our final banquet group photo.

I hope that this photo blog was enjoyable… I thoroughly understand how to put pictures in blogs now!!! If there’s ANY chance you didn’t get enough of San Diego pictures, all of them are on my Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/missjordanlee22

I had such a wonderful trip, if I haven’t said that enough.

For any of you project people who may read this, “Cheers to that!!!!”

For the rest of you, I’ll just say Praise the Lord.

He is good, and He did great work through us this summer.

My blogs from here on out will be about the way that He is continuing to work in and through me, for the rest of summer, and when I get back to Ball State.

Stay tuned if you care πŸ™‚ haha.

Dios les bendigan!
